[cobirds] California Condor N1, at Pueblo Raptor Center

Fyi the California Condor was transported to the Raptor Center of Pueblo last night by the Ellicott Wildlife Center transport volunteers. Other than hungry and tired he is reported in good shape by Diana Miller, Raptor Center Director.  It is scheduled to be picked up and returned by Peregrine Fund folks.  You can read updates on the Nature and Raptor Center of Pueblo facebook site @ https://m.facebook.com/nature and raptor center

Hi all,
I thought you'd be interested to know that the Ellicott Wildlife Rehabilitation Center has reported that they collected California Condor N1 found in Black Forest today.  Their FB page has a photo of the bird:  https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ellicott-Wildlife-Rehabilitation-Center/127122680754  If this is indeed Condor N1, it was born in Boise, ID in 2014 at a Peregrine Fund captive breeding program and released last September.  I don't have any personal knowledge about this - I don't know if it is suffering from injury or lead poisoning or what -  but thought it interesting enough to share.

Diana Beatty,
El Paso County
