On our morning walk today Deb and I had the pleasure of meeting up with a Sage Thrasher midway down the Shop Creek Trail (near the middle pond) on the far eastern edge of Cherry Creek State Park. Just west of the intersection of Parker Road and Temple Drive. We see these characters during migration in the park, but this timing was a first for us.
A Blue Grosbeak stopped by as well. They are all along Cherry Creek south of the park, but are not as readily seen in the park.
Bird on!
