Today, I took a break and headed over to Barr Lake after Adam Vesely's report of a White-eyed Vireo at Barr Lake. It didn't take long before hearing the bird calling in the general area of his post. I got great views of the beautiful bird. Thanks Adam for posting this great sighting!! Yesterday, I was able to get distant views of the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher before the skies opened up! Tonight when I got home I had a male Black-chinned Hummingbird(FOS) and a male and female Broad-tailed Hummingbird. You gotta love migration! Photos of both birds can be seen below:
