Sorry for the two e-mails about the female Golden-winged Warbler, I didn't think the first message went through on my phone. SeEtta Moss was also able to see this bird. I was able to get a photo too. I wonder if this is the same one Robb Hinds saw on 16 May on the east end of the Canon City Riverwalk (that I and others couldn't find later that day), or if this a different one. Quite a few mile distance between the two locations, though both sightings involve a female.
Other highlights (from Raynolds Ave to Sells Ave) along the Canon City Riverwalk (11 species of warblers):
American Redstart - 1 singing young male near Sells parking lot of the Riverwalk
Red-eyed Vireo - 1 same location as redstart
Northern Waterthrush - 8 (some singing)
Broad-winged Hawk - 1
Eastern Phoebe - 2
lots of other birds
In Florence, I saw a Cattle Egret with cows along the River Road.
