Good morning,
-- I found a female Northern Cardinal at Sondermann Park this morning at 8:15 and again when I returned to the area at 9:00 am.
The bird was on the west side of the creek, just beyond the bridge near Beidleman Center, along the trail beside the "Peace Camp" sign. It was calling for about a minute from a dense thicket of three-leaf sumac before it popped up. It was higher in the willows when I returned and flew to the east side of the creek, just north of Beidleman Center.
Good bird activity overall this morning at Sondermann.
Have a great day!
