Birding today at Chatfield Arboretum with Lynn Wilcoxson's DFO group we saw 3 Harris's sparrows, 1 adult and 2 first-winter birds. They were close together low to the ground in a bush near the north end outlet of the western-most pond, right near the trail. They cooperated for 10 minutes, then flew up into a tree above us in a beautiful display.
