[cobirds] Re: RFI on cell phone birding apps

Not sure if posting here is off-list as requested.  I have had the Sibley bird app on two different Android phones and have loved them both.  I use the app all the time and have never had a problem (now using a Samsung Galaxy SIII).  It is by far the most worthwhile app I have purchased.

We're trying to decide whether to get an Android or an IPhone. All our birding friends seem to use the IPhone birding apps with great success. However our provider (Credo) doesn't provide service for IPhone, only the Androids. So, if we choose IPhone, we'll have to switch providers. Does anyone have experience using an Android with Sibley or BirdsEye? If so, please advise us and reply off-list.
