Water at Walden and Sawhill Ponds was about 70-80% open this morning hosting a nice mix of ducks. Highlights included 9 Tundra Swans (two families) that arrived on Cottonwood mid-late morning and a dozen or so Hooded Mergansers on the pond west of Bass Pond. Two Great Blue Herons were standing on nests in the heronry.
