[cobirds] Mexican Duck Taxonomy and Baird's Sandpipers at Union Reservoir, Weld

Greetings All

If you want a fairly detailed discussion of Mexican Duck taxonomy (and ID), look no further than your Colorado Birds October 2012 issue.

If you would like to see photos of Mexican Ducks and their hybrids, take a gander (or a quack) at http://www.flickr.com/photos/36088296@N08/sets/72157632748801818/

Also, there were 3 Baird's Sandpipers (and 3 Franklin's Gulls) at the NE corner of Union Reservoir today
