Loggerhead Shrikes are uncommon enough in my local, birding circle that an encounter with them is always notable (to me, at least). This morning, while on a short run around Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Centennial, I spotted one on the weedy, not-yet-developed (but likely eventually developed) hill that gives the cemetery its name. This was a new bird for me at the cemetery (#79) and only my second local encounter with a Loggerhead since I moved to Centennial in 2016.
