Early this morning I was treated to a sighting of a Broad-winged Hawk from my home, as it was trying hard to evade the close attention of two Common Ravens. I suspect the hawk had recently departed a nearby roosting spot, when it attracted the eyes of the two ravens. It was an acrobatic melee, with the ravens soon driving it down and out of my view. Life's tough for a traveler sometimes.
