[cobirds] FOS Tree Swallow at Greenwood Gulch Trail in Greenwood Village, Arapahoe county

Hello Fellow Birders,

Yesterday, April 4, as my wife and I were walking the Greenwood Gulch trail that runs from near Orchard & Monaco northwest to join the Highline Canal trail at Marjorie Perry Preserve, we were cussing and discussing the recent hatch of small flying insects (midges?, mosquitoes?) that were swarming around us as we walked.  Shortly after I querulously queried "Where are the swallows when you need them?" we saw our first-of-season Tree Swallow.  Just one.

Keep Smilin',
Kevin
