[cobirds] Field Sparrow, Louisville, Boulder Co.

A field sparrow (western? race) has been in my front yard for at least 3 days.  What struck me first was the pink bill.  Its breast is clear, crown reddish, and upper back streaked.  I finally got a great look by my front porch so I am now confident of the id.  It is eating seeds that I threw out on ground for doves. It seems to be alone.

I'll try to get an image.  Please call if you would like to see it.  303-263-1714.
