I decided to give the roads at Chico Basin a chance this morning. Stopped by the banding station briefly where there was an orange-crowned warbler, blue-gray gnatcatcher and a very large flock of white-crowned sparrows (seemingly all Gambel's). The HQ had rose-breasted grosbeak and green-tailed towhee. Started to go to Rose Pond, but a giant mud puddle got in the way.
