The Common Redpoll made an appearance on the Sanders' thistle feeder among the American Goldfinches just before 2PM this afternoon. My first Jeffco Redpoll. Along with the single Redpoll, there were numerous American Goldfinches, a few Oregon & Slate-colored Juncos and Pine Siskins, House Finches, American Tree Sparrows and White-crowned (I think) Sparrows. If that's not enough, Ira & I watched between 150 and 200 Common Ravens fly to the west over his house. That is the most Ravens I have ever seen at one time. I did not see any Rosy Finches.
Thanks Ira & Tammy for your continued hospitality!!
Good birding!
