Gwen is mostly correct about this. I was able to see the wigeons by parking on Lima Rd and standing on top of my jeep with my scope. This allowed a bad look at the far side of the "reservoir" there, by my eye level being elevated by 13 feet. Obviously, not everyone will be able to do this.
