Chuck,
-- Thanks for your report and for making contact with the friendly, bird-loving Como-ite. Or is it Como-er???
I have enjoyed the Rosy flock there in past winters and next time I go, I plan to take a bag of the same kind
of seed she has been using to defray the cost of her generous smorgasbord.
AND (breaking news) there are brand new eBird hotspots for the towns of Jefferson, Como and Fairplay in Park County. Let's aggregate
our eBird checklists and build up a "citizen science" database.
Kudos to Chuck Hundertmark, David Suddjian, Bill Kaempfer, Joey Kellner, Steve Mlodinow and the scores of other birders who take the time to send field trip reports
to BOTH eBird AND CObirds.
Shameless promotion department: "If You Read CObirds, Report to CObirds!"
Thanks,
Joe Roller,
Denver
