Please note that Bobcat Ridge Natural Area and its parking lot are closed. People searching for the bird should not park at the parking lot entrance or in front of the ranger's house. The road is a dead end and searchers should not park anywhere to obstruct traffic or cause inconvenience to the few residents who live on that road.

Fawn Simonds found an AMERICAN WOODCOCK along a ditch/creek at Bobcat Ridge Natural Area in Larimer County today 1/15/15. David Wade, Georgia Doyle, and I re-found the bird in a different spot it had been seen before, but same general area. The bird moves around sometimes, so look everywhere. The creek is across from the ranger house which near the sign and parking lot area.Austin HessFort Collins, Colorado
