Hi All,
Eight participants tallied 66 species on a weather-shortened Crook CBC today. Of interest were a nice male Eastern Towhee at Tamarack Ranch and a Common Grackle on the Condon Ranch. Goose numbers were very low compared to past years as were most other waterfowl. This was due to the fact that almost everything was frozen. Misses included Prairie Falcon for the first time ever and White-breasted Nuthatch. By Noon the wind and snow had become unbearable and we all headed for home which in itself was an adventure. Many spin-outs along I-76
