Hello, Birders.
-- There was a nice White-crowned Sparrow night-flight over Lafayette, Boulder County, earlier this chilly, humid Thursday morning, Oct. 2nd. The breathy, rising flight calls of White-crowns are one of the characteristic sounds of the nighttime hours at this time of year. Also Great Horned Owls and Canada Geese.
