[cobirds] Uncommon birds 10/29

Today, I started out the morning in Coal Creek Canyon and got great views of the female Magnificent Hummingbird.   Thanks to Adam Jack for allowing everyone to view this rare Colorado hummingbird.  I then headed to Washington Park and saw the accommodating immature Surf Scoter(Thanks to Joe Roller for reporting this bird).  My luck ran out as I headed to Red Rocks hoping that the Golden-crowned Sparrow would return for the fifth straight year.  No luck!  I have been trying to take millet up 2-3 times a week but the seed is long gone every time I return. If anyone heads to Red Rocks please throw some seed down.  This area seems to always attract some good birds with consistent food behind the trading post.  A few photos of today's birds can be seen in the gallery below:
