Hi folks,
I'm just on my way back to Boulder after nearly a month in western Colorado. I stopped by the Welchester Grant tree park in Jefferson County, on the off chance that I might be able to see the blue winged warbler reported weeks ago, but to no avail (not surprisingly, given the time of day and all). However Mike, my consolation prize was a confiding and cooperative Yellow-billed Cuckoo. The bird was viewed from the path on the north side of the creek, just east of that concrete bridge where the warbler was most recently reported on COBirds.
