At around 2:30 PM on the North side of Union Reservoir near CR1/CR28 intersection was an adult Krider's Red-tailed Hwak. It flew off to the South before I left, but may still be in that area. Not great, but identifiable photos can be viewed at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/aphelionart/12916073554/ I was not able to pull anything rare off of Union, but heat shimmers were quite strong over the water and over the gull flock.
At St. Vrain Sanitation Ponds near the crossroads of WCR 13 and WCR 26 were my FOS Lesser Yellowlegs (two of them). This pond also had an adult Thayer's Gull, and White Pelican along with over 100 Canvasback and an assortment of other expected ducks.
Good birding-
