3/25/2014 White Rocks trail, Boulder County, Colorado. Nice day for some March birding: red tailed hawks, kestrel, northern shrike along the trail, hooded merganser and green winged teal in the small lakes, killdeer along the shore, and hundreds of mountain blue birds on the fence posts , mullein stalks and shore line of Boulder creek-passing through the area on their way to the foothills.
