[cobirds] Bluebird Monitor Needed at Chatfield State Park, Jefferson/Douglas County

The Colorado Bluebird Project facilitates nestbox monitoring work around the state.  We need a volunteer (or two) to help monitor a line of 16 nestboxes at Chatfield State Park, southwest of Denver, once a week during the nesting season.  You'd be working with another volunteer, thus missing a week or two here or there is not a problem.  Monitoring involves looking inside each box and documenting what you see (partial nest, complete nest, number of eggs, etc.).  It's a great adjunct to 'regular' birding, here you get up close and personal.

If this sounds like something you might want to do, please contact me at CBPKevin@aol.com.  You can check out our webpage at www.denveraudubon.org/conservation/bluebird-project/

Thanks,
