BOULDER COUNTY:
--Pam Piombino reported that her yard Harris's Sparrows continue to visit her feeders.  Please call her at 303-776-1939 if you would like to see the birds.  She lives SW of Hygiene.

DELTA COUNTY:
--A Harris's Sparrow was reported by Garrison at the FS office feeder in Paonia on March 25.
 
DENVER COUNTY:
--On March 17 Suddjian reported 1st-cyc Glaucous Gull and 3-rd cyc Lesser Black-backed Gull at Marston Reservoir.  On March 18, Suddjian reported 1-st cyc Glaucous Gull at Marston.
 
DOUGLAS COUNTY:
-- Stachowiak reports seeing the BRANT, on February 15, at the southeast
corner of Redstone Park located in Highlands Ranch. Access the parking lot
located on the west side of S Foothills Canyon Blvd approximately 2/10's of
a mile south of W Town Center Drive. Look straight ahead as you enter the
parking lot or to the left towards the houses on the edge of the park. Nikolai reported seeing the BRANT at Redstone Park on March 15.  On March 16, Thompson reported that the BRANT was swimming on the pond at Redstone Park.  On March 17, Carstensen reported that the BRANT was next to the pond on the eastern end of Redstone Park.

EL PASO COUNTY:
--At Chico Basin Ranch (fee area) Percival reported on March 25 a singing Curve-billed Thrasher and by the banding station a Harris's Sparrow.

GARFIELD COUNTY:
--Dick Filby reported that his yard Harris's Sparrow continues on March 20.  If you would like to
try to see the bird e-mail him at dickfilby AT hotmail.com.

JEFFERSON COUNTY:
--Suddjian reported the GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW at Red Rocks Trading Post on March 18.  Shade reported GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW at Red Rocks Trading Post on March 19.

KIOWA COUNTY:
--A probable TRUMPETER SWAN was reported by Kaempfer at Nee Gronda Reservoir on March 22.
 
LARIMER COUNTY:
--A pair of Barrow's Goldeneyes was reported by Baron at Timnath Reservoir
on March 10. They were seen from the parking lot of open space (South
Shore) off of CR 40.  Lefko reported on March 14, that the pair of Barrow's Goldeneyes continues at Timnath.  On March 16, Johnson reported that the pair of Barrow's Goldeneyes continues at Timnath.

MONTEZUMA COUNTY:
--A m Barrow's Goldeneye was reported by Dexter at Dolores sewer ponds W of town on March 18.

PITKIN COUNTY:
--250 Rosy-Finches of all 3 species were reported by Filby at Snowmass Ski Area on March 19.  On March 22, Gieszl reported all 3 species of Rosy-Finches at the feeder at the top of Village Express at Snowmass.

PROWERS COUNTY:
--A pair of Northern Cardinals was reported by Kaempfer at Lamar Community College Woods on March 22.

TELLER COUNTY:
--2 Rusty Blackbirds in breeding plumage were reported by Jones at Manitou Lake on March 22.  They were about 300-400 yards N of the dam along a trail on W side of Trout Creek.  Taylor reported that the pair of Rusty Blackbirds was seen again on March 23. 

WELD COUNTY:
--A TUNDRA SWAN was reported by Lefko at Loloff Reservoir on March 23.

DFO Field Trips:
The Field Trip for Thursday, March 27 will be Denver Urban Birding led by Chuck Thornton-Kolbe (303-777-7588).  Meet the leader at 0630 at Overland Park near Florida and Platte.  Will carpool from there so be prepared to ride as well as drive.  Bird until 1600 or 1630.  Walking will be  kept to two miles or less on mostly flat, easy terrain.  Will be looking for winter residents and any water birds we can find on rivers or reservoirs.  Bring scopes, lunch, water, and dress for the predicted weather.

The Field Trip for Saturday, March 29 will be to Belmar Park led by Karleen Schofield (303-936-8661).
Meet at 0830 in the parking lot near the lake.  The park is at 800 S. Wadsworth Blvd in Lakewood.  From Alameda and Wadworth go South on Wadsworth, turn west at the light on W. Ohio Ave.  Drive a short two block to the parking lot. Will check out the waterfowl on the lake, search for raptors over the fields and see what other birds might be found.  Bring water, layered clothing, sun block, binoculars, scope.  Restrooms are available.  Be prepared to walk 3/4 to 1 mile on flat trails.  If questions or questionable weather, please call the leader as soon as possible.
