[cobirds] TRICOLORED and Green Herons at Holcim Wetlands east of Forence

I drove out to Holcim Wetlands this evening to look for the Least Bitterns that are likely nesting in there again.  I did not see them but did spot the TRICOLORED HERON perched near the top of the cattails where it is likely perching for the night.  I had posted on June 15 about seeing the TRICOLORED HERON fly into the cattails at dusk so I was not surprised to see it there tonight.  However not far away were two White-faced Ibis providing support to the saying that birds of a feather do flock together.  I also spotted 2 Green Herons in the wetlands.  Tonight this area received some badly needed rain though less than quarter inch.  I got a photo showing the TRICOLORED HERON and the ibis in the cattails and a photo of one of the Green Herons that I have uploaded to my Birds and Nature blog.
