Importance: High

Hi all

Just got home from Denver – saw a few birds of interest in the past couple of days

Tuesday: Wheatridge Greenbelt / Prospect Park

Solitary Sandpiper 1

Greater Yellowlegs 1

Western and Eastern Bluebirds – refugees from the snowstorm

Yellow-rumped Warblers -  both forms

Wednesday: Cherry Creek State Park 9am-12:30pm

Semipalmated Plover 2  Cottonwood Creek delta

Lesser Yellowlegs 1 Cottonwood Creek delta

Least Sandpiper 1 Cottonwood Creek delta

American Avocet - many

BROAD-WINGED HAWK 1  in trees near Prairie Loop

A surprise (to me at least) of several “late” winter gulls:  3+Thayer’s, 1 Glaucous,  1 Iceland and several Herring Gulls.

Plus lots of Ring-billed and California Gulls, 2 Franklin’s Gull

American Pipit ~10

No godwits of any sort..

And, no-where near Denver, back at home..

Spring Park Reservoir, Eagle Cty

Common Loon 1

Barrow’s Goldeneye:  still 10+

Good birding all
