This past winter we bought our normal amount of black sunflower seeds for our feeders. However, this winter the birds did not (for whatever reason) eat as much of this seed. Because of this we have a lot of leftover seed (we generally stop feeding in the first week of April). My question for you cobirders is: If we save the seed for next year, will it still be good for feeding? If not, what would you recommend we do with it?
