[cobirds] Where are all the Rough-legged Hawks--81 at Cheyenne Bottoms yesterday!

As I have been bemoaning the paucity of Rough-legged Hawks in So Central Colorado this season, I was amazed to read that on Monday they counted an amazing 81 Rough-legged Hawks at the Nature Conservancy's Cheyenne Bottoms Preserve in central Kansas.  They said this is one of the highest counts they have ever had on ebird for this species.  It was noted that there is a abundant population of small mammals after a 'tremendous' seed crop last spring and summer.
