[cobirds] Re: Golden-crowned Sparrow - Red Rocks - Jeffco

I saw the Golden Crowned Sparrow and at least three Gray-Crowned Rosy-Finches today at the Red Rocks Trading Post 12/24 between 4:00 and 4:30pm. It was starting to get pretty chilly by then, maybe that had some effect.

The first Gray-Crowned Rosy-Finch I saw was way up on the cliffs west of the fence. Eventually they showed up at the platform feeder and on the ground when the Western Scrub Jays weren't scaring them off.

Also saw one Spotted Towhee as others mentioned in the earlier message.

Quite a few of the usual birds: Dark Eyed Juncos, Western Scrub Jays, House Finches, etc.
