Seven Tundra Swans were found at Marston Res by Mary Burger and me on our scouting trip on the 13th for count week, but they were not seen after that. Tina Jones also saw them. On the 15th, two White-winged Scoters, 1 Long-tailed Duck, and 2 Common Loons were found on Marston Res. One Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Greater Scaup, 1 Ross’s Goose, and 1 Snow Goose were at Centennial Pond. A Chihuahuan Raven called as s/he flew over our heads at Fort Logan Natl Cemetery. Our juv Ross’s Goose that Mary and I found there on the 13th was also seen by Mike Henson’s group along the fence line at Fort Logan on the 15th. And a light morph Harlan’s Red-tailed Hawk was seen and photographed at Colorado Academy. I placed a few photos on my website: http://www.kayniyo.com/trip_Unusual_Birds.htm
