After three failed attempts, we spotted the Palm Warbler in Colorado
Springs on the Colorado College campus, at the same location described
previously by others.
We found it on Dec 25 at about 4:15 PM actively foraging in some snowy
bushes immediately west of the south entrance to Barnes Science
Center, and just east of Palmer Hall. The bird stayed right near the
base of the south side of Barnes where a row of ornamental bushes
including apache plume are planted, or along a gravel ledge above the
bushes near the bldg's front windows, and spent some time in bushes
immediately west of the bldg, then flew off around to the north side
of the bldg.
