[cobirds] Pueblo Christmas Bird Count Dec 26th

Hi all,

If anyone is planning on coming to the Pueblo CBC next Wednesday, and haven't contacted me, please let me know.  I have several open areas, that I'm hoping to have people cover in the morning.  I'll be meeting people in Pueblo, just off I-25 at 7am (and we'll meet again in Blende at 12:30pm for a quick lunch and see what has been seen and what we need to cover in the afternoon).  The circle is mostly just east of Pueblo (including the little towns of Blende and Vineland).  We usually find between 80-95 species.  One year, somehow we found 108 species of birds, that was an amazing count.  I know this count is mostly covered by a few birders from nearby and a few from out of town, though maybe a few other people want to help, so I'm letting you all know.  I'm hoping the weather will be okay this year.  Last year, because of a snowstorm, only six people were able to count in the circle.

Good birding,

Brandon Percival
