Congratulations to Nathan Pieplow, the editor of CFO’s Colorado Birds, who recently signed a book contract with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt to produce The Peterson Field Guide to Bird Sounds, a comprehensive guide to North American bird vocalizations. His book will illustrate the sounds of each species with spectrograms and it will include an audio index that can be used to look up unfamiliar sounds while you are birding.
