just now:
5 Redpolls at feeders
Perhaps someone could help me on this one:
SUSPECTED Yellow-bellied juvenile Sapsucker
At first I thought it was a Northern Flicker since that would be a more common event in my backyard; HOWEVER, it had a definite red throat and I'm not finding that as a field marking on a Flicker. It flew-off when it saw my movements in window; I'm waiting for its return for a possible picture.
