- A pair of Great Horned Owls being surprisingly active in broad daylight, both leaving the visitors' center at 12:30, and returning around 4:00.
- Seemingly sparse Bald Eagle numbers (5 or 6), but nonetheless, a pair posed very cooperatively on a snag on the way back from the gazebo.
- Two, or possibly three pairs of American Kestrel.
- One Rough-legged Hawk.
- 3 or 4 Red-tailed Hawks.
- 4 Northern Harriers.
A fine day of birding, indeed.
