I believe this is a small flock of Willets, but would appreciate confirmation. These birds, plus a few Blue-winged Teals and Mallards were found in a small pond next to Paintbrush Park in Castle Rock, Douglas County. We don’t get a lot of shorebirds here due to our lack of open water, but this pond must have looked just right to these guys. Thanks for any confirmation.
