[cobirds] Bird Conservancy of the Rockies - Chico Basin Ranch banding station 5/15/22

As usual with songbird migration, one day is not like the next. The Swainson's Thrushes were not here in the numbers they were yesterday. We did not even recapture one of them. I must say that yesterday they were all very fat individuals with bulging fat throats and abdomens which means they were heading northward. Clay-colored Sparrow was the new bird species of the season captured today. Twenty-four species total captured for the day.

Wilson's Warbler -5
MacGillivray's Warbler -21
