[cobirds] FOS fledgling

A fledged Horned Lark was chasing it's parent around the short grass prairie area on the Auto Loop at Rocky Mountain Arsenal May 7.  Horned Larks have been there all winter and territorial for the last month at least.  2 of 3 eagle nests have 4-6 week old chicks.  The northern most nest can be seen from the Auto Tour.  We watched a parent shed a prairie dog and feed the young.
