[cobirds]

In a short loop around the block in my neighborhood in Security, CO this morning, I observed 8 Mississippi Kites born this season being fed by at least 5 adults.  The young I saw are all new fliers, having fledged within the last two weeks, and are being very vocal calling for parental attention, making them relatively easy to locate.  If this year is like others, they will likely migrate in the next two weeks.  If anyone wants to see them, now is a good time.
