[cobirds] Salisbury Equestrian Park Pond - Parker (Douglas County)

I have not been able to get out much the last few months, but did take a quick trip out to Salisbury Equestrian Park Pond in Parker this AM. This location has been quite good for fall shore birds past years, when water levels have been appropriate. Currently the water level is too high for shore birds to feed. I did have flyover Lesser Yellowlegs and a Baird's, but I am not certain where they flew from. Additionally I was dismayed that the park has 100% cleared out all shrubs, bushes and vegetation around the edges of the entire pond. I don't know the reasoning. In the past those bushes had been decent for sparrows and warblers. The only noteworthy bird was a single early Canvasback hanging with the Mallards.
