I was recently contacted by a student at Angelo State doing research on Mississippi Kite genetics. She had asked about the two (three seen later by someone?) I found earlier this spring in Alamosa. That species is rare in the San Luis Valley and we have no breeding records. Be that as it may, I was going to suggest a few contacts for the eastern plains. I thought of Brandon Percival and Duane Nelson. Is there anyone else that is a good contact for this species? If you fellas are okay with it, I can connect you with her email. Let me know with a reply.
