I saw them yesterday about 4:45 pm. thought the same thing. Although there has been one hanging out around Twin Peaks Golf Course in Longmont. (I have not seen her yet.)

There were 15 wild turkeys along the Diagonal Highway just east of Bustamante Wood, just west of Airport Road. Left Hand Creek passes just to the north, but I had never seen turkeys so close to Longmont, Niwot or the Diagonal before.
