[cobirds] Footnote (?) to the Big Sit at Chatfield SP 10/8/16

Greetings COBIRDERS:

 

While I did not officially participate in the "Big Sit" at Chatfield State Park on Sunday, we did see a migrating broad-winged hawk over the model airplane field, and watched it work its way to the Roxborough Rd entrance.  This took place at 12:15PM, and the real credit goes to Dan Lass of Brighton, a Virginia native who has never seen his childhood hawk in our beautiful state!
