Hey, everybody. Just a quick report here on storm birding in Boulder County, Oct. 6:
-- Boulder Reservoir had a flyover Sprague pipit. I think it put down by the rowboats on the south shore, but I couldn't re-find it once (or if) it was down. Also at least two Sabine gulls.
Prince Lake No. 2 had 9 sandhill cranes, 5 least sandpipers, and a fantastic hailstorm.
Cottonwood Marsh, Waneka Lake, and the Jasper Road mudflats (Boulder Creek at 109th) had tardy snowy egrets.
Prince Lake no. 2 had a flock of 10 mountain bluebirds.
