Heil Valley Ranch
Thursday, July 14, 2016, 8 a.m.-12 pm
Free, no reservation needed.
Leader: Carl Starace

Heil Valley Ranch contains diverse foothills birds, from Wild Turkeys to flocks of Pygmy Nuthatches. We'll likely see Western Tanagers, Western Wood Pewees, Steller's Jays, Virginia's Warblers, Brown Creepers, 2 species of Bluebirds, empidonax flycatchers, and perhaps Dusky Grouse. The lovely tufted Abert's Squirrels can be encountered.
