[cobirds] Both Longspurs [Weld and Cheyenne, WY]

Hi all

Weld CR 114/45 had two Chestnut-collared Longspur.  Badger crossed my path on Hwy 85/Weld CR 120.

Chalk Bluffs Road had a plethora of both species--literally at your feet (immatures).
  • Chestnut-collared Longspur - 10+
  • McCown's Longspur - 50+ (often time large groups just lounging on the road)
  • Brewer's Sparrow
  • Blue Grosbeak
  • Grasshopper Sparrow (many)
  • Lark Bunting (loads of)

Probably lead my postponed trip to there next Saturday-keep watching.

Thanks

Gary Lefko, Nunn
