After getting a email from Scott Severs, who also saw this amazing spectacle, I need to correct the error that these guys were likely immature Bald Eagles (it is not the first time I have mistaken juvenile eagles for osprey from a distance.) I was driving and was going on a quick impression, and also the mistaken idea that immature eagles don't conduct courtship flights. So please excuse the mistake, and certainly the osprey will be returning soon, but not in early March.
