Yesterday at Chatfield, in addition to the birds mentioned by Kay Niyo, there were four Hooded Merganser swimming among the boat slips in the marina.

At the Heron Rookery overlook, we found one Common Loon. At the handicapped fisherperson's point we found a Pacific Loon swimming closely and diving with another Common Loon. We also had several Horned Grebes and several Bonaparte's Gulls. No scoters were seen.
